About The Role

This is a full-time remote position, with team members in North America and Europe. We are looking for someone Either in North America, Europe or Asia.

We are seeking a Technical Protocol Success Specialist to help us scale out our operations. The person in this position will bring a blend of project management skills and technical knowledge to help the DevOps team launch new chains, stay up to date with software upgrades and other critical blockchain changes.

The protocol expertise you will develop supports our internal teams, including DevOps, Sales, and Customer Success team. As a fast-growing startup company, it's critical that you are adaptive to varying work conditions. We work with very dynamic Blockchain development teams across the world and work across a range of projects and functional areas between departments.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Combine project management skills with technical knowledge to manage new chain onboardings as well as regular maintenance
  • Develop an understanding of all supported protocols (enough to be dangerous) and an in-depth knowledge of a select few protocols (e.g. Polkadot / NEAR / etc)
  • Maintain protocol information and awareness of current and upcoming events, including: tracking upgrades, governance proposals, hard forks and various communication channels to ensure our customers and internal teams have timely updates on all critical protocol changes.
  • Ensure technical solutions align with project goals and requirements
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders
  • Manage integration of maintenance systems and tools

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in crypto/blockchain, or alternatively, being highly crypto curious and ready to dive head-first into the space.
  • Effective communication skills; facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Problem-solving; analyze process problems and identify solutions
  • Adaptability; flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, priorities and challenges
  • Personable and comfortable communicating with others across teams and platforms on a regular basis - high EQ.

Base Salary: The CAD base salary range for this position is CAD $90,000 - $115,000. The US base salary range for this position is USD $90,000 - $115,000. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation or benefits. For candidates in other countries, the pay range will be disclosed upon your first interview with Figment (being a globally remote company, the list of salary ranges would simply be too long to note here!). The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across all Canada or the US. A candidate’s specific pay within the range will be determined by various factors including job-related skills, relevant education, and training.
