Background:

The Client is underway in a crucial transformation program (Innovation 2025). As part of this initiative the Banking department is looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to support the implementation of Business Process Improvements. This is a project part of the strategic program at the Client and its scope would be to focus on the process optimization within mainly the back-office area. Since all workflows are based in Findur, we would need a Business Analyst with trading applications experience with Findur. The BA will undertake analysis of business processes and document business requirements for implementation in Findur.

This would be a project-based role and we would be looking to receive candidates from professional to more senior level of experience. The project already started but there are things still to roll-out in the backlog for the next year with a priority in the process improvement area.

Perfect candidate:

Experienced business analyst with ability to work on business process optimization and improvements initiatives, running requirements gathering and related workshops, but also working on the related documentation.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Analyse and design business processes around the trading applications. Translate business requirements into business and technical specifications, employing best industry practice. Interact with the relevant design teams about translating requirements into detailed system specifications

- Advise and participate in the development of test plans for business applications and the execution thereof. Coordinate and support business area acceptance testing for financial messaging projects

- Interacts with the other IT groups in the organization for systems design, integration, standards and change management.

Must haves:

- At least four years' business analyst experience supporting business applications in a banking / financial services environment (****)

- In depth knowledge of a trading application eg Findur / Endur (****)

- Ability to analyse business needs, challenge and distil into accurate and concise requirements documentation (****)

- Be familiar with full trade transaction lifecycle, with a focus on BO processes (****)

- Ability to plan and run workshops and meetings independently, also produce materials in support of requirements gathering (****)
