The Data Extraction Analyst utilizes advanced proprietary LiDAR point cloud visualization and extraction software. They assist in the creation and management of a digital asset library.

The work involves extracting and analyzing LiDAR data to create a detailed map of various environments. This position calls for an understanding of established procedures and guidelines to accurately collect information within a 3D environment.

This is a full-time position located in Middleton, Wisconsin. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days in the office. We also offer the opportunity to work a four day work week in this role.

Job Duties

  • Processes project data according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Assists with testing new software, products and procedures.
  • Checks accuracy of own work and follows quality procedures throughout data extraction process.
  • Extracts assets and applies attribution from point cloud and imagery data.
  • Maintains an understanding of the Insights360 software and any necessary custom processing applications.
  • Works independently to identify and solve project related problems.
  • Assists with Quality Assurance processes during high volume project periods.


Skills And Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of data entry, customer service, or similar experience
  • Basic knowledge of GIS applications and file formats is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and work in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • 3D environment navigation, such as gaming and CAD is a plus.
