Role Description & ResponsibilitiesOur Dassault Systemes SOLIDWORKS Product management team is excited to announce new positions available in our Waltham, MA office! We are looking for early career aspiring innovators, and engineers to join us as we build the next generation of design solutions.
As a product management intern, you will get to learn, implement, promote and work on strategies for one of the largest products within the SOLIDWORKS portfolio. We strategize and develop initiatives that help SOLIDWORKS transition towards the future of CAD and collaboration.
Interns play an important and critical role in the overall success of these SOLIDWORKS products and initiatives. You will be part of a critical team who are driving the demand for our market-leading solutions. We’ll provide you with the steps, tools and leadership that will help advance your career at Dassault Systemes and help our customers reach their goals. You will also have the opportunity to become a certified professional for SOLIDWORKS Roles (Included with your internship) and help inspire the next generation of students to change the world through innovative designs and engineering.
This Internship is primarily focused around creating courses for training/teaching students how to use SOLIDWORKS browser-based apps on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. Courses can include videos, shorts, PDF’s, written text, 3D Models, drawings, and other relevant learning materials to enable teachers to teach our software and students to learn our software. You will use the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, SOLIDWORKS, and other apps to create:
- Detailed courses and curriculum structured in an intuitive way to help educators teach CAD software
- Assignments to help students practice and learn the lessons
- On-boarding videos, tutorials, PDF’s, etc helping student teams get started using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform
- 3D Models, animations, images, and promotional content that can be used for marketing purposes and/or corporate website
Qualifications
- Actively seeking bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related program
- Advanced knowledge of SOLIDWORKS CAD or other CAD software
- Functional use of at least one additional CAD software (Onshape, Fusion 360, etc) preferred
- Strong functional use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong skills using video editing and screen-capture software preferred (Camtasia, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, etc)
- Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments
- Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure
- Ability and willingness to self-learn new and advanced software functions. We want someone who goes after knowledge rather than waiting to be taught
- Work onsite at Dassault Systèmes in our Waltham office
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal essential
- Fluency in Spanish or French will be an added advantage but not mandatory
