Summary:

G PS is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Project Coordinator who will support the Division of State and Local Readiness (DSLR) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop, coordinate, design, and manage projects, including organizing meetings, setting agendas, and handling minutes and tasks.
  • Create operational manuals, policies, and procedures for the HD LNO team.
  • Assist in coordinating projects and staff to determine budget and schedule needs.
  • Assess project performance and recommend goals, priorities, and strategies for delivery.
  • Gather and evaluate information to gauge the effectiveness of the project.
  • Work with task forces, teams, and staff to assess needs and help departments create policies to enhance project efficiency.
  • Collect, organize, prepare, and maintain various documents, reports, and records related to the project.
  • Review team procedures and apply diverse management methods to enable efficient planning, scheduling, and directing of activities.
  • Oversee the inquiry and decision log to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Uphold confidentiality protection procedures consistently.
  • Provide regular updates and respond to inquiries about the aforementioned activities during daily team calls.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated efficiency in time management and the ability to work independently or in collaboration with others.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, along with interpersonal skills across email, face-to-face, and virtual interactions.
  • Experienced in managing complex and confidential information with discretion.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2-3 years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous contractor or CDC experience.
  • Skilled in facilitating client discussions on complex workforce communications, data visualization, and analytical concepts.

The salary Range for this position is $68,000.00-$75,000.00 annually.
