Ada Meher are proud to be partnering with a scaling B2B2C SaaS company with office space in both Bristol & London as they recruit a Head of Software Engineering to help them drive innovation and growth in their technical team. The successful candidate will be leading a team of 7 working on the roadmap and delivery of the platform as well as taking a higher-level view of strategy for recruitment, team growth and culture as they prepare to scale the engineering function.

The current tech stack is MEAN focused with AI based components and serverless AWS deployments, so the ideal candidate with have a strong JavaScript/Typescript background with some knowledge or interest in cloud deployments and artificial intelligence. The role will involve a split of both hands on (reviews/architecture etc) and hands-off work so applicants should be comfortable with the stack and also leading code reviews, mentoring and implementing processes/standards.

To Be Considered
  • leading a small Engineering team (5-10)
  • scaling an Engineering team and setting growth strategies
  • experience with JavaScript/Typescript Engineering (MEAN/MERN preferred)
  • working on high-level strategy for a SaaS product
  • of B2B2C would be an advantage
  • of AWS and Infrastructure / Artificial Intelligence (AI) would be a benefit
