Job Summary:

This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions. This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and robust software products. Additionally, this role will have a strong background in software development, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation.

Essential Functions:

• Develops maintainable and reusable code using established software architecture principles.

• Advocates and practices test-driven development (TDD) and other solid engineering practices.

• Designs and builds Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs to support front-end applications.

• Builds and maintains web applications using major frameworks like Vue.js, Node.js, Bootstrap etc.

• Contributes to architectural discussions and decisions, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

• Collaborates closely with user experience (UX), product, and development teams to build world-class web applications.

• Mentors and teach other developers via pair programming and other collaborative learning methods.

• Stays up to date with the latest technologies and trends, and supports the adoption of new tools and practices.

• Other Duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience

Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

Years of Management: No Experience Needed

Preferred Licensing, Certifications and Skills:

• Full stack development experience with a strong focus on solid engineering practices and architecture principles.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ and one or more major JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js.

• Proficiency in one or more server-side technologies like Node.js, or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with NoSQL document databases like MongoDB and relational databases like PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, etc. as well as with Scrum/Agile methodologies.

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins etc.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment on Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as with application performance management (APM) tools like Datadog, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.

Hire Range/Rate:

$101,500 - $132,250

Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
