We are seeking a Sr Software Engineer with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) experience to strengthen our eCommerce operations. This vital role involves building, designing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that are integral to our eCommerce initiatives, merchandising goals, and overall organizational objectives. You will bring your advanced-level programming expertise and SFCC experience to tackle a range of system integration, tool development, software support, and troubleshooting tasks. The ideal candidate will adeptly manage multiple complex SFCC-related projects simultaneously, demonstrating an ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment and ensuring project completion within set timelines. This position is not only about technical prowess but also about driving meaningful impact through innovative SFCC solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development of innovative features on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform, significantly influencing user experience
- Collaborate with internal User Acceptance (UA) teams and external development partners to design and implement new functionalities on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
- Partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver engaging and sustainable customer experiences
- Convert business and technical requirements into optimized solutions utilizing Salesforce Commerce Cloud's capabilities
- Investigate platform capabilities to identify opportunities that align with our eCommerce strategy
- Contribute to the technical architecture and design of features on the Commerce Platform, including conducting code reviews and overseeing technical design documentation
- 5+ Years of hands-on web development experience
- 2+ years pf experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
- Experience in API and third-party systems integration (SOAP/REST)
- Advanced knowledge in Java/J2EE, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Oracle, SSIS
- Experience with Java, C++, and object-oriented programming
- Knowledge in change control, QA, regression testing procedures, source code version control (e.g., Bitbucket, SVN, GitHub), and automated regression testing setups
