Join their team in Innsbruck or 100% remote as a Data Engineer (m/f/d) to make unstructured data a thing of the past!

Aufgaben

As a Data Engineer, you can expect exciting and varied tasks:

  • You are responsible for optimizing the user interface of the self-developed human-in-the-loop machine learning system (for information extraction from free-text electronic health records).
  • You are the go-to-person for the extending and the improvement of the statistical analysis tool for medical data.
  • You manage interactions with REST-API machine-learning and data backends.
  • You support decision-making on future frontend technologies and technology switch.
  • You deploy to dedicated servers as well as Google cloud platform utilizing CI/CD.
  • You work close together with a multidisciplinary team of medical domain experts, developers and deep learning researchers.


Qualifikation

  • You are based in Germany or Austria or are planning to move there.
  • As a Data Engineer you have at least three years of experience and know your tasks.
  • You finished your Master’s degree in engineering, computational science or a related field.
  • You are proficient in Angular and React/Vue.js or similar frameworks and Python.
  • You have a solid experience in statistical data analysis.
  • Analyzing complex architectures and independent decision making is no problem for you.
  • You are an expert in modern software engineering practices (clean code, design patterns, refactoring, object-oriented programming, test-driven development).
  • You are no stranger to UI/UX-Design themes.
  • You are fluent in english – spoken and written – and have a good command of German
  • A good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, Docker and Gitlab CI/CD is a nice-to-have, but no must-have.
