Hybrid Product Management Intern

General Summary

The Product Management Intern will be responsible for supporting the Product Management team in their effort to manage existing product offerings as well as research the competitive market and analyzing internal and externally sourced data while researching any unusual items we see in the data. This role will support product development and growth initiatives. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented, highly analytical individual that can work with minimal supervision. The candidate will gain valuable hands on experience in product management, technology and data-driven decisioning during the internship.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Research new product features that align with product goals
• Assist with gathering, organizing and interpreting data for project prioritization
• Create competitor view and prepare areas to focus
• Assist with business requirement research and writing
• Participate in product brainstorming sessions
• Collect and analyze customer data
• Work closely with Marketing managers, directors and other team members to identify trends and make recommendations to improve performance
• Support product managers with other special projects and requests
  
  

Qualifications

• Exceptional ability to communicate both written and verbal.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong work ethic and passion for working with data.
• A successful candidate must enjoy working with data but also have the ability to glean insights and translate them into business recommendations for senior management.
