As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will orchestrate and land the end-to-end Surface Commercial Device Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for Enterprise customers including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) , sustainability, and post-sales strategies. In this role, you will identify areas of business opportunity, improve the customer buying journey, and scale business growth with both new and existing Surface customers.

As part of the Surface Commercial Segment and Industry Team, you will also partner with key business stakeholders across sales and marketing, business operations, and channel/partner teams to drive fiscal year planning and execution of Surface Segment Strategy, Surface Solution Plays, and aligned investment plans at worldwide scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of the Surface Commercial Device GTM strategy to drive growth for Surface with Enterprise customers.
  • Manage Surface stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Business Desk, Customer Success, Customer Experience, Engineering, and Marketing to drive GTM partnership across programs and performance.
  • Understand, manage, and deliver on customer and channel marketing opportunities to drive growth.
  • Focus on strategic deals and provide support to resolve any GTM blockers, asks, or help needed.
  • Intergrate cross-functional clarity and land process to deliver revenue and profitability goals in fiscal year.
  • Contribute to fiscal year planning process to shape revenue and profitability goals for next year.
  • Support the Surface Field Community (SE&O) through leadership on Surface Community Calls, Area Performance and Strategy Meetings, and Business Reviews.
  • Actively identify opportunities to cross-collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align efforts and investments such as customer targeting models, digital marketing programs, and performance reporting systems.
  • Measure the current and forecasted state of the Surface Commercial Business in Enterprise segment and provide actionable insights for global Rhythm of Business (ROB) reviews and leadership forums.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 5+ years' experience partnering closely with product teams on product strategy, narrative creation, and launches
  • Experience developing relationships with customers, senior executives, engineering teams, and other product and marketing groups
  • Experience in product marketing or product management
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing (not necessarily hardware).
  • Devices and Enterprise/Commercial Marketing experience preferred.
  • Adept at challenging perspectives with new ideas.
  • Experience and understanding of running a sales business rhythm.
  • Experience driving P&L sales performance.
  • Strong communication (oral, written, presentation), analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Action-oriented, customer focused, and prepared to manage change.
  • Proven planning and organizational skills with demonstrated execution excellence.
  • Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences.
  • Experience with cross-boundary team collaboration, leadership, and program management.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
