- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to patients
- Perform routine procedures such as injections, blood draws, and nail trims
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor patients during procedures and treatments
- Prepare patients for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of surgical instruments and equipment
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery of patients
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent education/training
- Proficient in animal handling, and animal restraint techniques
- Experience with animal catheterization and administering medications
- Familiarity with veterinary software systems for record-keeping
