Work you'll do

  • Support organizational cybersecurity program and teams - Incident Response (IR) activities in support of the SOC, security-related networking activities in support of networking teams, system administration activities, Cloud (AWS, Office365) security, and secure software development (DevOps/SecOps) in support of software development teams.
  • Design principles and techniques in SOC back-end design, Splunk, CrowdStrike,
  • Design Automation and/or CAD for CPUs or SOCs
  • Work with corporate IT and networking teams to deploy and leverage the organization's cybersecurity tooling and capabilities.
  • Research and design best-fit infrastructure, network, database, and security architectures for products.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • 5+ years of cybersecurity analysis and engineering experience
  • 3+ years' experience within networking and systems (traditional, virtual, cloud) and their associated cybersecurity best practices, tools, and processes
  • 3+ years' experience utilizing all available capabilities within CrowdStrike
  • 3+ years' experience within threat analysis models like MITRE ATT&CK Framework and the Cyber Kill Chain
  • 3+ years' Cloud security experience - AWS, Office365, etc.
  • 3+ years' experience setting up a mainstream SIEM - backend log feeds, integrations, SIEM apps, dashboard creation etc.
  • 3+ years' experience with log and monitoring management systems, security event monitoring systems, network-based and host-based intrusion detection systems, firewall technologies, malware detection and enterprise-level antivirus solutions/systems, VPN technologies and encryptions standards
  • 3+ years' experience within operations, management, monitoring and maintenance of network security devices and technologies, including firewalls, routers, VPN, IDS sensors, proxies, wireless access points, PKI, domain controllers, security information event managers, etc.
  • 3+ years' experience in the application, management and implementation of security policies, controls and baselines to wide range of operating systems (e.g. Windows, OS X, Linux, etc.), network equipment (e.g. routers, switches) and network security devices (e.g. firewalls, IDS sensors, proxy servers, VPN concentrators, etc.)

Preferred

  • A completed technical certification from an industry-recognized certification provider (For Example: GSEC, Security+, CND, or CCNA-Sec)
  • 1 + year of Sumo Logic experience
