Position Overview
They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qt Software Engineer to join their team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Qt development and a passion for creating user-friendly, high-performance software applications for medical devices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Qt-based software applications for medical devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Architect efficient and scalable software systems to meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Implement intuitive user interfaces with a focus on usability and accessibility.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong emphasis on Qt/QML.
- Proficiency in C++ programming language.
- Experience developing GUI applications for embedded systems is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and data structures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
