Who we are

Game7 is an Autonomous GameFi Institution whose treasury is managed and deployed by the community. Our mission is to make web3 gaming sustainable by accelerating the industry towards collaboration, unified standards, open source innovation and having fun.

To achieve this, both BitDAO and Forte have committed $500m to our treasury. Our community then helps decide how to deploy strategic capital towards both Investments and Grants that help drive the ecosystem forward.

As a community, we are passionate about crypto, gaming and are comprised of industry leaders and blockchain experts, who believe there are better ways to build distributed organizations. Our community consists of diverse, talented and intelligent members who’s contributions to the ecosystem help define their governance capabilities.

About This Team

The Community Steward for Ironworks will serve as a crucial member of the Game7

core team, focusing exclusively on building a vibrant and engaged community

surrounding our upcoming game launch, Ironworks. The mission is to cultivate an

inclusive and active ecosystem where players thrive, build meaningful connections

and contribute to the overall success of Ironworks.

Your Role

• Discord Management:
• Take ownership of the Ironworks Discord server, ensuring a vibrant and positive atmosphere tailored to the game's community.
• Collaborate closely with the team to implement bots and strategies specific to Ironworks that enhance member engagement.
• Collaborate closely with the team to build and customize the server infrastructure to accommodate anticipated user activity.
• Reddit Management:
• Take ownership of the Ironworks reddit, ensuring a positive experience
• Promote and acknowledge community members to become part of the moderation team
• Collaborate with the IW, community and marketing teams to grow the reddit in both engagement and size
• Moderator Oversight:
• Recruit, manage, and coordinate a team of moderators dedicated to Ironworks, ensuring effective community moderation.
• Regularly evaluate moderator performance and provide feedback to ensure alignment with Ironworks's community standards.
• Community Engagement:
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the Ironworks community and the core team, representing the voice of players internally.
• Collaborate with the Governance Steward to spearhead community-led initiatives specifically tailored to Ironworks.
• Communication and Transparency:
• Facilitate transparent communication within the Ironworks community by providing regular updates and addressing player concerns.
• Organize and host regular town halls, AMA sessions, and other community events tailored to Ironworks.
• Community Strategy:
• Collaborate with the head of community and Ironworks team to develop and implement community growth and retention strategies specific to Ironworks.
• Provide valuable insights and feedback to contribute to Ironworks's overall community roadmap.

• Effective collaboration with different departments to address Ironworks community needs and implement successful solutions.

Your Craft

• Proven experience as a Community Manager or similar role in the gaming industry, preferably with experience in launching and managing communities for MMORPGs.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Discord and community management tools, with a focus on tailoring strategies for specific game communities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the Ironworks community internally and externally.
• Experience managing and coordinating online events and initiatives, with a focus on engaging and retaining players.
• Familiarity with MMORPGs and gaming ecosystems, with a passion for and understanding of the dynamics of online gaming communities.
