18month Contract for UX Designer who wants to build beautifully crafted, impactful, business-changing products.
You'll need to be an effective cross-functional problem solver (within Corporate: HR, Finance, Legal, etc) who is comfortable owning problems and driving solutions. Having an ecosystem-centered mindset will help you succeed in this role, as the tools we design affect many areas of business. This role is exceptionally collaborative with product managers, engineers, and other job functions!
Remote Position. However, preferred locations: CA, NY, FL
Salary: $65-$70hrly
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design effort for a highly-visible product within the Content Management ecosystem
- Articulate, negotiate, and refine design requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers to arrive at the best design solutions
- Perform all functions of the design lifecycle, including research, concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and hi-fidelity mocks
- Work closely with engineers to help us innovate within technical constraints
- Utilize quantitative data and qualitative insights to inform design decisions
- Be the voice in the room that always puts the user first
- Be an excellent human, exhibiting compassion for your teammates and integrity in your actions and decisions
- 3+ years as a UX designer on products that have shipped
- Proven knowledge of user-centered design thinking methodologies
- A high aptitude for teamwork and open collaboration
- Experience working closely with cross-functional partners
- Working knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive layouts
- Experience with various user research and testing methodologies
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience
Skills:
- 3-5 years previous UX Designer work experience
- Figma (required)
- Front end CS/html (ideal not required)
- Large Corporate Enterprise experience is a must
- Experience building enterprise tools and design systems
