What You’ll Do
As a Finance Intern at Group 1 Automotive, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of corporate finance. Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, you will work on real-world projects and initiatives that will enhance your skills and knowledge in finance and accounting.
Responsibilities Include
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting tasks
- Conduct research on industry trends and market dynamics
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist in preparing financial statements and regulatory filings
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the finance team
- Junior or Senior status currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hands-on experience in a corporate finance environment
