Athlete partnerships are central for the On brand, key to building credibility from our performance core and a genuine way to communicate our brand mission of ‘Igniting the human spirit through movement’. 2024 will be On’s biggest year yet, and we’re looking for a passionate Athlete Integration & Content Manager to drive forward On’s athlete integration and content ambitions. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the athlete team, regional teams, marketing, creative and production you’ll be responsible for managing informal athlete resources, athlete integration plans and athlete content that engages our communities. Reporting to the Project Manager - Athlete Strategy & Partnership, you’ll be an integral member of the global Athlete Strategy & Partnership team, responsible for pushing forward our athlete presence on several brand & partner channels.

Your Mission

You will be responsible for tasks in various areas in an exciting cross-functional role. Athlete Integration: - Engage with internal teams by identifying and amplifying athlete integration potential and driving the Athlete Integration Request Process in collaboration with the Athlete Managers - Challenge our current approach, bring fresh ideas and test new formats to develop the integration framework further Athlete Tools, Resources & DTC connect: - Feed and drive internal athlete tools and resources and keep them up to date to secure a maintaining fruitful base for athlete integration possibilities - Connect with the DTC team and collaborate in bringing our platform presence to new levels. Make sure our athletes are present on our website and the team receives the right information to drive the business with athlete resources (e.g. Athlete Quotes, Content, relevant Athletes Stories & Insights etc.) Athlete Calendar and Race Results: - Keep the Athlete Calendar (Events, Times, Athletes etc.) up to date, guarantee prioritisation is set and connection to other resources (e.g. Roadmap) is made. - Collaborate with athlete managers and lead internal stakeholder management around this tool. - Ensure athlete visibility and the right content on the right channels corresponding to the importance of the event by connecting and exchanging with stakeholders (such as social, comms, DTC etc.) - Support in securing race content from photo & videographers and make sure we get assets from important races delivered to relevant internal & external stakeholders right after the race Athlete Announcements & Photo Shoots: - Craft and own the athlete announcement journey and connect with stakeholder teams (such as Social, Comms or Market teams) to let our new athletes shine on various channels - Bring to life Athlete Photo Shootings and Athlete Announcement shootings. This means owning the projects from end to end (connect with creative, coordinate with stakeholders, deliver assets etc.) Athlete Content & Assets: - Secure, store, organise and manage athlete assets, own knowledge about usage rights and craft distribution flow & internal awareness and transparency

Your story

  • 2-3+ years’ working in sports, in sports marketing, with athletes or in a sports-connected business environment - High enthusiasm and passion for the world of sports (Athletics beneficial) - You have experience working and developing content and have a good understanding of rights around content - Strong briefing and planning skills, and excellent attention to detail - You’ll be ideating, concepting and have an experimental mindset - wanting to push forward new ideas of athlete integration, elevation and content - Be proactive to develop building cross-functional relationships including experience working with internal teams and/or external partners - Strong communication, planning and structuring skills - Live and breathe the athlete and explorer spirit, staying on top of integration opportunities, content formats, platforms and trends is a must - Flexibility to adapt working time to race schedules if necessary - Fluent in english
