Position Summary
Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget. This role has project management responsibility and no direct reports. This job manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end. Requires people and resource management through others; part of cross-functional team required to complete the project.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of projects or initiatives related to NORAM field service needs. Including but not limited to the discovery, initiation, planning, execution, change management, and closure phases of projects.
- Coordinate internal/external resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
- Develop project scopes and objectives and gather requirements involving all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationships with SME’s and stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Education
- Bachelors degree in related field
- PMP certification is a plus
- Years of experience 2 to 5 years
- Project management in the gaming industry
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Experience working within an Agile Development Cycle
- Experience using Scrum as methodology
