Tasks

We are providing exceptional customer service and support to patients in a healthcare setting? We are currently seeking compassionate Patient Support Associates to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to assist patients with their non-clinical needs and ensure their comfort and satisfaction

Responsibilities:

As a Patient Support Associate, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to patients during their healthcare experience. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting and assisting patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answering phone calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals.
  • Assisting patients with completing registration forms and insurance paperwork.
  • Providing information on hospital services, policies, and procedures.
  • Escorting patients to various areas within the facility as needed.
  • Assisting with patient transport and mobility as requested.
  • Ensuring patient rooms and waiting areas are clean and organized.


Requirements

Qualifications:

To succeed as a Patient Support Associate, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or patient support preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and compassion for patients and families.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
  • Professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service.
