Tasks
We are providing exceptional customer service and support to patients in a healthcare setting? We are currently seeking compassionate Patient Support Associates to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to assist patients with their non-clinical needs and ensure their comfort and satisfaction
Responsibilities:
As a Patient Support Associate, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to patients during their healthcare experience. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting and assisting patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answering phone calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals.
- Assisting patients with completing registration forms and insurance paperwork.
- Providing information on hospital services, policies, and procedures.
- Escorting patients to various areas within the facility as needed.
- Assisting with patient transport and mobility as requested.
- Ensuring patient rooms and waiting areas are clean and organized.
Qualifications:
To succeed as a Patient Support Associate, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service or patient support preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and compassion for patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
- Professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service.
