Make Your Impact Within a Rapidly Growing Fintech Company
- Understand and document business requirements related to payment and approval processes for new Mid Market and API sales prospects, as well as Accounting firms.
- Partner effectively and provide excellent support to Mid Market and Accountant Channel sales executives during the pre-sales cycle.
- Evangelize the BILL's solutions to both non-technical financial and accounting audiences and to technical professionals within the BILL Developer Network.
- Develop, present and deliver high-impact demonstrations of the BILL solution to prospective buyers, both in person and/or via web conference.
- Clearly articulate the benefits of BILL's suite of solutions to all levels including, developers, finance and accounting users and senior levels (CFO, controller, VP Finance). Collaborate with our sales, sales enablement and product teams to continually improve our demonstrations, including sales scripts, discovery process, best practices, sharing expertise/training and guiding solution enhancements.
- Effectively articulate process improvement recommendations for our solutions and technical knowledge around integration of BILL with in-house accounting software.
- Serve as a pre-sales technical point-of-contact for Accounting Firms, Mid Market and API prospects and comprehensively respond to technical issues raised.
- Act as subject matter expert on relevant competitive payments and adjacent solutions.
- Translate BILL's latest release information into clear customer-ready messaging about differentiators and example use cases for pre-sales presentations.
- Provide technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Leverage knowledge of product and market to help ramp Account Execs to become self sufficient with their own demos.
- Partner with prospect technical lead and BILL product team to understand and translate business objectives and integration requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
- 2+ years in a pre-sales position with an Enterprise or Mid Market SaaS company, preferably focused on the financial buyer.
- Application experience with one or more of the following solutions desirable: Netsuite, Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and/or Business Central.
- Ability to travel up to 15% in the first year.
