The Role:


Are you an engaging, creative, skilled writer, who understands cyber security and loves to communicate value to prospects and customers? We are looking for a Cybersecurity Content Development Manager to join our team. This is a 1 year fixed term contract for maternity cover, with the possibility of becoming a FTE. The role can be located in the US or UK on a remote basis.


Intel 471’s Cybersecurity Content Development Manager has the unique role of creating and overseeing cybersecurity marketing content that raises brand awareness and engages prospects from initial demand generation through ongoing customer management. He/she will be responsible for writing, improving and maintaining content, as well as planning, managing and coordinating demand-generation webinars.


The ideal candidate will have demonstrated writing, editing, as well as interviewing and research skills, particularly in the cyber threat intelligence (CTI) market. In addition, you will need to be a superb story-teller and multi-tasker, comfortable working on projects independently or in a collaborative setting with cybersecurity subject matter experts (SMEs) and others from across the company and the globe.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Author cyber threat intelligence content that speaks to buyers within our target geographies to speed their journey from lead to close by interviewing SMEs and researching product and market data.
  • Review and edit content for accuracy, relevance, business value, and/or formatting updates
  • Collaborate with SMEs to update outdated content.
  • Develop and maintain compelling, persuasive content in multiple formats, including but not limited to: whitepapers, case studies, data sheets, solution guides, blogs, ebooks, testimonials, presentations, etc.
  • Work with product marketing leadership and content team to identify, plan and manage webinar schedules.
  • Research our competitive landscape and generate actionable insight from these findings to support internal teams.
  • Work with branding team to implement brand messaging, including tone, style, and theme
  • Measure and report on established KPIs.


Education, Experience & Qualifications:


  • 4+ years combined product marketing and communications experience, preferably in the cyber- security/cyber threat intelligence markets.
  • Strong writing, editorial and interview/research skills are a must, as is a relentless attention to detail and a focus on producing exceptional quality of work. Strong storyteller.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in journalism, communications, or marketing.
  • Highly organized and adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.

The role will report to our VP of Product Marketing but will be expected to interact and work closely with other areas of the company as needed. The role involves occasional travel within the United States, Europe and Asia. The role requires regular contact with our international team located in the United States, South America, Western and Eastern Europe, and Asia so a comfort working with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds is required.
