Job Description

We are looking for a new team member to support the Global Supply Chain team for our Hydrostatics (Medium Power) Business Unit. As a key player in the Supply Chain excellence journey, you'll implement, facilitate, and improve processes and support projects to deliver excellent service to both internal and external customers. As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with the local Supply Chain teams across all Medium Power locations globally and support those with your reporting expertise as well as your knowledge on Supply Chain related data and process flows.

For this position, there is some flexibility in location. Ideally you will be working out of a Hydrostatics (Medium Power) location in Europe region such as Neumünster or Povazska-Bystrica. Other locations might be possible as well.

Please note that for this role, we do not provide relocation support or visa sponsorship.

Job Responsibilities


  • As part of your role, you will create & design new reports based on local/ global needs as well as execute ad hoc reporting.
  • Your responsibilities involve driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes within and beyond the SAP system and supporting local Supply Chain teams for enhanced efficiency.
  • You will closely collaborate with different functional areas in order to continuously optimize supply chain KPIs such as On-Time-Delivery, Inventory and Logistics Costs and related cross functional processes.
  • Utilizing your end-to-end Supply Chain expertise, you will support the execution of localization and product-life-cycle projects, ensuring a seamless supply chain operation.
  • It will be your task to understand Supply Chain related data & data flows and secure that all relevant data are maintained and updated on time e.g. material master (safety stock, minimum order qty, lead time …).


Background & Skills

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, and we are seeking relevant practical experience. Fluent English language skills are a must as well.
  • Your expertise includes SAP and Business Intelligence, demonstrating (advanced) Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Your skill set showcases extensive analytical capabilities, an independent work style, and a proactive attitude.
  • Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to collaborate and network seamlessly across functions, countries, and hierarchies.
  • Your profile reflects curiosity, open-mindedness, and a willingness to explore outside-the-box approaches. Additionally, you bring a can-do attitude, flexibility, and a motivation to continuously learn and develop your skills.
  • Occasional international travel (<10%) may be required.
