The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Product Manager, Department of Operational Excellence, the Product Specialist is a critical role that will focus on work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you will lead end-to-end processes, manage dependencies, and liaise with stakeholders to deliver solutions efficiently to ensure requirements are delivered in an organized and structured way.

Excellent communication, analytical skills and sound judgement are required for success. Sentrex aims to build applications that drive efficiency and coordinate our capabilities and services to help patients and physicians get access to care for specialty medications. As a Product Specialist you will be integral in driving the technologies that connect our ecosystem and differentiate Sentrex from the competition. The Product Specialist will be accountable to document product requirements, formulate and communicate to stakeholders and be the product expert who handles product documentation, training and facilitates user acceptance testing.

We are looking for a highly accountable and flexible individual with passion and ability to work in a high growth-matrix organization. The right candidate will be adept at handling many competing priorities supporting Product Management and Software Development to ensure requirements are testable and unambiguous in developing leading edge Healthcare solutions.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

  • Act as a product expert within the company who is the day-to-day point of contact for product-related questions and has the knowledge and capability to trouble shoot bugs/issues.
  • Act as an advocate that articulates the business and client needs.
  • Triage and document feature enhancement requests.
  • Liaise with internal partners to identify, define, and document product requirements, objectives, and scope.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiencies through product enhancements.
  • Create release notes and ensure communication of product enhancements to all participants.
  • Provide product demos to introduce new functionality and to foster user feedback.
  • Promote and advocate user adoption of Sentrex products.
  • Understand the relationships, dependencies, and impact of relevant business functions.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the manager.


What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal managerial supervision.
  • Critical thinking, judgement, strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record of delivery on various design projects.
  • Healthcare Business background with PSP (Patient Support Programs) is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of relevant experience in technical Business Analyst role supporting technology enabled initiatives is an asset.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven customer facing and facilitation experience with stakeholders.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret workflows and step-by-step business processes and relate them back to product functionality and desired enhancements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and influence.
  • Impeccable written and spoken communication skills including being able to interview stakeholders to gain an understanding of their product needs.
  • Excellent listening and facilitation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office tools particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
