About the job:

As an Endpoint Software Deployment Engineer at Foundever, your primary mission will be to manage and deploy software across Foundever's computing environments. Utilizing tools like Microsoft Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM) and Microsoft Intune, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our applications are efficiently distributed and updated. This position involves collaborating closely with IT departments across various sites to guarantee uniform software deployment and lifecycle management, including Patch Management for both Microsoft and Third-Party applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain software using Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune.
  • Support Patch Management processes for Microsoft and Third-Party applications.
  • Work alongside IT departments to ensure consistent software deployment across all Foundever endpoints.
  • Maintain software compliance and updates through effective Patch Management.
  • Use up-to-date installation packages for all new software deployments.
  • Manage ticket tracking systems, change requests, and provide deployment status reports using SCCM.

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Software Management:
  • Create and maintain applications and packages.
  • Deploy applications and packages.
  • Generate reports on application and package deployment.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues.
  • Microsoft Software Update Management:
  • Manage SCCM software update infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain software update packages and deployments.
  • Report on software updates.
  • Troubleshoot update deployment issues.
  • Third-Party Software Update Management:
  • Manage third-party software update infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain update packages and deployments.
  • Maintain update reporting.
  • Troubleshoot update deployment issues.
  • SCCM Collection Management:
  • Optimize query-based collections.
  • Perform collection housekeeping as necessary.
  • Client Deployment and Health:
  • Report and troubleshoot SCCM client compliance.
  • Ticket Queue Management:
  • Maintain and route assigned tickets to the appropriate teams.
  • Personal Development:
  • Follow company standards and procedures.
  • Stay updated with technical developments in your field.
