Senior Electronic Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Heerbrugg / Hybrid

This appeals to you

• Conception and design of complex analog and digital circuits
• Take responsibility for overall electronics system design and guide colleagues as well as external partners
• Help finding the appropriate system morphology in an interdisciplinary team
• Contribution to all aspects of the electronics development life cycle from design and specification to testing and documentation
• Interfacing with stakeholders from other disciplines (optics, software, production, …)
• Provide input and recommendation into technical decision making
• Seek and use best practices, methodologies and tools to deliver electronics to the required standards
• Coordinate maintenance and drive improvement of the associated development environment and process

This is you

• PhD, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics
• Multiple years of professional experience in embedded systems engineering / sensor technologies
• Experience with digital / analog design, high-speed interfaces and DC/DC converters
• Knowledge of EMC validation and functional safety
• Analytical thinking, strong in conceptual work and solution orientation
• Entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive attitude and a hands-on mentality
• Open-minded team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
• You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team using English and German
• Knowledge of laser range finding electronics or imaging is an asset
• Embedded FW development in C/C++ and experience in Matlab or Python is a plus
