For our R&D Team in Graz, we are looking for a Machine Learning & AI Engineer (m/f/d).

In this exciting and challenging position, you are responsible for technology projects within the R&D team with a specific focus on AI technologies. The work consists of a range of technology readiness and project scope investigations requiring deep scientific research, prototyping, advanced development, application analysis and manufacturability.

Your Tasks

Work on R&D projects for/with internal and external R&D departments, supplier companies, insti-tutions, and academia.
Research latest advances in AI technology and algorithms in regards of automotive products & systems, software/data analytics methods and advanced manufacturing techniques
Work with engineering tools to develop prototype and/or production intent solutions.
Evaluate technologies and product designs with compliance to scientific principles, engineering- & software development principles, company standards and customer requirements.
Support the development of innovative components or modules from initial concept through full development.
Support the design, simulate, execute, and test Proof of Concept systems / programs

Your Profile

Computer Science or Engineering background with proficiency in one (or more) common pro-gramming languages/environments (Python, Rust, C/C++, MATLAB etc.) and their application for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & Data Analytics
Familiarity with a variety of Machine Learning methods, their advantages & disadvantages, availa-ble libraries, and their areas of application
Understanding of academic research in the field, ability to monitor publications and keep track of latest progress & development
Awareness of global trends related to the automotive and mobility field
AI method knowledge and preferably hands-on experience in at least one of the following fields:

Computer Vision
Sensor Data Fusion
Advanced Data Analytics
Data-Driven Decision Making / Behavior modeling

The minimum annual remuneration package for this position is EUR 50.000,- with corresponding qualification. The actual salary is higher and depends on your education and specific work experience.
