Working in the Global Group Division Logistics/ Customization core leadership team at Belimo HQ in Hinwil Switzerland, you will drive the Division in achieving world class end to end quality performance and translate customer quality requirements into internal strategies, policies, procedures and metrics. This position is responsible for Belimo's 9 Logistics/ Customization Centers around the globe (2 EEMA, 2 AMERICAS, 5 APAC) with over 350 employees within the Group Division. The function is also responsible for logistics service providers quality and sustainability efforts which require close collaboration with Belimo's procurement function. Group Division Quality & HSE Manager Your tasks
  • Defines, develops and deploys Quality strategies in line with Divisional strategy to accelerate the rate of operational improvement across the entire value chain
  • Develops harmonized and consistent quality processes and drives application of best practices across the entire value chain to embed a culture of excellence in operational performance
  • Takes an active and leading role to assess and facilitate resolution of high impact quality issues related to logistics / customization, escalated by the different functions/units
  • Works with the Units to set coherent and aligned Quality priorities and targets across the entire value chain, monitor progress, analyze Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and act on deviations from targets
  • Ensures that the Division has an effective management system that addresses Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental practices
  • Provides training, coaching and facilitate support to individuals and teams so that they are better equipped to drive their improvement efforts for themselves. Execute Divisional training and development structure in line with Quality and organizational goals
  • Ensures that the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct/indirect subordinates. Develops the skills and competences to create a highly effective and efficient team able to drive business results
Your profile
  • BS/BA in Operations, Business, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5-10 years' working experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement relevant field (preferably in electrical, mechanical or HVAC industry), Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification would be a plus
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methods
  • Ability to analyze as-is situation, make a gap analysis towards vision/target stage and build and execute a road map to close gaps
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a geographically distributed and multicultural team of indirect reports. 9 locations across the globe
  • Strong change management and stake holder management skills
  • Readiness for travel activities (up to 20%)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that are engaging, initiate motivation, and strong communication
  • Very solution / problem solving, and intercultural team orientated
  • Must be a strong logical and analytical thinker who can develop and execute to completion
  • Fluency in English and German
